SEWA Punjab has secured multiple collaborations with government and non-government agencies and departments towards its objective of empowering women workers in the informal economy- 

Government of Punjab: SEWA Punjab secured a Memorandum of Understanding with the state government on17thAugust 2017,which was renewed on 18th August 2020, for the purpose of mutual collaboration in order to carry out poverty alleviation and women empowerment programs. The departments that SEWA Punjab has collaborated with include- 

          -> Department of Planning 

          -> National Health Mission, Punjab

          -> Social Security and Women & Child Development Department

          -> District Administrations of the districts where SEWA Punjab is active

 

Punjab University (PU), Chandigarh: SEWA Punjab signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Punjab University on 27th November 2017 to collaborate on action-based studies, and for research on public policy analysis and advocacy measures.

Indian School of Business, Mohali- SEWA Punjab has a Memorandum of Understanding with ISB to collaborate on knowledge exchange, for providing expertise on social enterprise business models, and for research on women enterprises and the impact of women participation in various grassroot bodies.

Rotary Club – A 5 year MOU was signed on 26th February 2018 with Rotary Club of Chandigarh for a collaboration on community development and upliftment of the Saketri community in Panchkula.

School of Public Health, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh- SEWA Punjab has a working relation with PGI whereby we consult with them for various health projects.

Payworld: Sarthak SEWA Pvt Ltd is a cooperative of SEWA Bharat which is in collaboration with Payworld Pvt Ltd in Punjab, to facilitate financial inclusion of women workers in rural, unbanked areas across the state through the Business Correspondence Program.
